Meet John Baker

John Baker is an artist, his palette or clay is wood. He has spent many years studying the different wood types, techniques of all the ages of woodworking and the tools associated with them. He takes this knowledge and applies them to the piece of artwork he makes for you. If it be a kitchenette, fireplace surround or some form of furniture, these skills are applied with the best materials and hardware available to make the piece both beautiful to look at and durable, with ease of use.

John prefers to make each piece unique and one of a kind. Though some pieces may seem the same as others he makes, he has taken the time to make sure that the grain patterns are unique in each piece. In the cabinetry that John makes, he will explain different uses of drawers or shelves that will be custom made for your lifestyle.

John is very knowledgable of the different eras of cabinetry and furniture, so if you are having trouble designing your project, he will help you through this process. John will spend the time to make sure you are absolutely pleased. John will also handcraft wood parts that may not be available anymore at retail locations. If you have a picture of something that you have found in a magazine, he can recreate that. But most importantly, he cares for you as much as he does the creation he is crafting.
